Non-Molestation Orders

Non-Molestation Orders Solicitors

Have you been a victim of domestic abuse or domestic violence? Are you concerned for your safety or that of a child in your care? Keenan Solicitors are experts in the provision of Non-Molestation orders helping to safeguard the well-being of you and your family.

If you feel that your safety is being jeopardised by someone, perhaps a previous partner or spouse, Keenan Solicitors can make an application to the court for a non-molestation order on your behalf.

In Northern Irish law a non-molestation order can contain either or both of the following provisions:

  • Provision prohibiting a person from molesting another person who is associated with the respondent.
  • Provision prohibiting the respondent from molesting a relevant child.

We understand that it can be difficult for victims of domestic abuse or harassment to seek assistance, either due to circumstance and lack of privacy, or because of the emotional impact the actions of another have had on you. We urge anyone who is concerned for their safety and well-being to first and foremost contact the police then seek the advice of the Keenan Solicitor’s legal professionals.

We can enact emergency legal action in the form of an Occupation Order. This will remove any offending party from your home. We can then apply to the court for non-molestation order, preventing said party from approaching you or any children in your care.
