Adrienne Sheehan

Conveyancing, Wills and Probate

Adrienne graduated from the University of Ulster in 1998. She completed her training in a long established conveyancing firm and joined Keenan Solicitors immediately after qualifying as a solicitor in 2000. She heads our Conveyancing Department and also deals with complicated Wills and Probate. She is regarded as a leading practitioner in her field due to her meticulous eye for detail and wealth of experience. She handles residential sales and purchases but also re-mortgages and transfers for private clients, property developers, businesses and lending institutions.

Adrienne is also an experienced Probate and Wills Practitioner helping clients to put their affairs in order during their lifetime and acting for their Executors in dealing with the winding up and distribution of the assets of an estate in an efficient and cost effective manner.

Andrew Mairs

Family Law

Andrew graduated from Queen’s University Belfast before completing his training under Mr Ian Huddleston who was subsequently appointed as Northern Ireland’s first solicitor High Court Judge. He joined Keenan Solicitors in 2007 and heads up the Family Law and Criminal Departments. He is a leading practitioner in this field and is the Chair of the Solicitors Family Law Group. He acts for a  party when a relationship breaks down dealing with the division of the assets and handling Divorce proceedings together with sorting out arrangements for the care of any children. He will always try to reach an early settlement if this is in his client’s interest but is skilled at navigating the court system to ensure that his client’s case will be presented to best advantage before a Judge if that’s what’s needed.

Andrew has been a member of the Children’s Order panel since 2009 which allows him to act on behalf of the Guardian Ad Litem Agency in proceedings brought under the Children’s Order.

Andrew is also a skilled Criminal lawyer who regularly acts for clients in the Magistrate’s and Crown Court.

Caroline McCammon

Caroline graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 2016 and completed her training in a City Centre firm. She qualified as a solicitor in 2019 and immediately came to Keenan Solicitors to take up a post which would allow her to specialise in her favoured areas of Family and Criminal Law. Caroline acts for clients in the Family Proceedings Court, Family Care Centre and the Criminal Courts. She is a confident but careful lawyer who represents her clients robustly with other lawyers and before the courts and who has rapidly built up a loyal client base.

Ciaran Keenan

Ciaran graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Law in 2020. He started his training with Keenan Solicitors in September of that year and is currently following this course which involves periods at Institute of Professional Legal Studies and in the office. He is gaining valuable experience in the practice of law and hopes to qualify in 2022.
